Year 11 Fitness students are currently conducting peer training for their Certificate III in Fitness which focuses on cardio sessions using the principle of HIIT–High Intensity Interval Training.   Students must design a session, train their partner, check heart rates of their client to ensure the training is attaining the specific intensity required, swap roles, and evaluate the effectiveness of their session and how they presented it.  The next practical requirement of the course is to implement fun and fitness activities with an upper primary school class. Students can attain eight QCE points once their Certificate III course is fully completed.  The certificate qualifies students for future work within the fitness industry should they choose to use it.
