Year 10 Agricultural
Science has currently been studying Meat Science. In this unit they have been
looking at factors affecting meat quality as well as the location of meat cuts.
To complement their assessment item this term the two Year 10 classes visited
Malanda Meat Company to see a pig and steer boned out. Thank-you to Gary Haines
and the team of butchers for providing the demonstration to the students as a
valuable learning experience.
