Applause filled the Auditorium on Monday night following our 5th annual Film Night. Family and friends were invited to view the superb productions produced by this year’s film students. The entries ranged from horror, drama, trailers and experimental films. The audience was impressed by the students’ hard work and imagination they used when creating their productions.   The Year 11 People’s Choice Award was awarded to Jemma Wilton and Zack Harris for their film Don’t Look Back. The horror film followed the journey of a young girl who was stalked by a monster. Jemma and Zack used the Atherton landscape as their mis-en -scene, creating beautiful compositions that captured the isolating nature of farmland.  Melissa Zbasnik won the year 12 People’s Choice Award for her film Bon Appetit. The experimental film explored the relationship between people and food. Mel captured many different and interesting shots of people eating food to illustrate their obsession with it.
