Queensland 2017 Aerospace Awards – We have three finalists!

Year 11 students Lauren Ruscoe and Daniel Dilger and Year 12 student Rowan McNab are finalists in these prestigious aerospace awards this year. Lauren, Daniel and Rowan are being recognised for their continued excellence in the Aerospace Studies subject. They will be travelling to Brisbane on Tuesday, 21st November for the award ceremony.  This will be hosted at Government House by the Honourable Yvette D-Ath, Attorney General and Minister for Justice and Minister for Training and Skills. Each student is a finalist for two awards!  These are all outstanding achievements.  Lauren is a finalist for the Year 11 Aerospace Studies Award and the Honourable Company of Air Pilots Award.
Daniel is a finalist for the Year 11 Qantas Quest Award and the Honourable Company of Air Pilots Award.  Rowan is a finalist for the TAE Aerospace Young Innovators Award and the Royal Aeronautical Society Award.  Congratulations on being finalists and we wish the three students all the best at the Award Ceremony.,  irrespective  of whether they win or not, we are  very proud of them.
