What’s happening in Home Economics?

The Year 8 students are analysing recipes and reviewing the Australian Dietary Guidelines to design a fast food product for presentation to the school’s “Shark Tank”.  Meanwhile, the Year 11 Home Economics students are preparing written folios about the school tuckshop and creating their own tuckshop item.  Food Fact: Did you know that in Australia the closest we come to meeting the Australian Dietary Guidelines is the fruit food group where 49% meet the recommended intake?
