During Term 3, Year 6 students from local schools travelled into Atherton High to experience elective subject areas in preparation for high school.  Students participated in a variety of activities from the Arts, Manual Arts, Home Economics and Agricultural Science learning areas.  Kairi and Walkamin Year 6 students kicked off the program and thoroughly enjoyed making their own key rings.  Tolga students prepared a biscuit dough and got to take home their freshly made biscuits.  Yungaburra and Atherton Primary students also completed spray painting murals and experienced first- hand feeding chickens, goats and cattle in the Agricultural department.  All students represented their school with pride demonstrating excellent behaviour and terrific enthusiasm when participating in all activities.  A big thank you goes out to the visiting primary school students and their teachers for making the program enjoyable and rewarding.  A special thanks goes to our fantastic staff of Cameron Harris, Tracey Fitzgerald, Merv Robson, Peter Sorenson, Judd Larcombe, Matt Lawrence, Andrea Khan and Rod Green for their enthusiasm and passion in delivering an engaging and entertaining program
