As a part of the current Year 8 Geography landscapes and landforms unit, students recently trekked up to Hallorans Hill to learn more about some of the landforms in our local area. Students were informed of how different types of geomorphological processes helped to shape some of the unique places around The Tablelands. At the lookout students studied topographic maps of the area and created landscape sketches from the coast (The Pyramid, Mt Bartle Frere and Mt Bellenden Kerr) to Atherton. Yindinji elder Mr Shaun Joseph also explained the cultural history and significance of a range of sites.
