Guidance Officers are employed by the Department of Education and Training
to assist students and their families. Guidance Officers are registered
teachers and possess appropriate post graduate qualifications.
Guidance Officers can help students in several different areas:
- Personal Life
- Friends, family, personal relationships
- Academic Life
- Choosing subjects,
applying for tertiary courses, improving study skills, managing time, exam
preparation, and consulting students about alternative pathways for learning
- Work Life
- Characteristics of
jobs, opportunities available, developing a suitable career path, and applying
for jobs, apprenticeships and traineeships

office is located at Student Services in A Block.
