Instrumental Music Program
Our instrumental music program provides students with the opportunity to learn and develop their skills across a range of instruments, creating strong pathways from local primary schools into high school music ensembles and performance groups.
Instrumental teacher Lachlan Szery works closely with local primary schools, mentoring students as they transition into high school and supporting their musical growth throughout their journey at Atherton State High School.
Many students continue into our platinum award-winning school band, which performs at a variety of community events and competes at Fanfare each year, building both confidence and musicianship along the way.
